Welcome to 'The Magic Motion'
This blog showcases work made by participants taking part in an animation project on Pearce Ward, Manchester Adult Cytic Fibrosis Centre, UHSM, Wythenshawe Hospital. The project was comissioned by Lime Art (http://www.limeart.org/) and was devised & delivered by artist Adela Jones.
The animations have been made by adults during 1:1 workshops on the ward. At the end of the project a showreel of all the work made will be displayed in the waiting area of the Manchester Adult Cystic Fibrosis Centre. The aim of the project was to introduce participants to the process of animation and create a series of films around the theme of 'Magic'. As from Mid September the artist set a new project theme of 'Traffic & Travel'. The first in this series of films was 'Elements' by Julie Neave. New animations were added to the blog as the project progressed. The project took place between June and November 2010.
